Pray this scripture today for your minister's wife:
May she enjoy pleasant friendships. Lord, bring her a dear friend whom she can lean on and confide in, whose advice will help her in her walk with You. Amen.
"Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart,
and the pleasantness of a friend
springs from their heartfelt advice" (Proverbs 27:9).
Let's pray together for our minister's wife!
We pray that our minister's wife will submit herself to You. Give her the strength to resist the devil. When the devil comes to tempt her, give her strength to resist. When the devil comes to discourage her, give her strength to resist. In this way, the devil will flee from her! May she draw near to You, so You will draw near to her!
"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you" (James 4:7-8a).
Lord, we pray for our minister's wife, that you will give her strength when she is weary. She has so many tasks, so many responsibilities - to her church, to her family, to You and the individual plans You have for her. Give her strength to accomplish everything You have called her to do. Let her rest in You and Your presence, so she may realize that when she is weak she is strong, because You increase her power and strength. Amen
"He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak" (Isaiah 40:29).
We pray Your Word for all minister's wives out there - that she will walk by the Spirit, always yielding to His voice and His direction. In doing so, she will not gratify the desires of the flesh. The voice of our flesh, of the world, can be so strong. I pray Your voice will be heard by our minister's wife over all other voices. Amen
"So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh" (Galatians 5:16).
Pray this prayer from the Scriptures for your minister's wife today:
Lord, equip her with Your armor, so she is able to stand her ground when the evil day comes. All days of sickness and persecution, of discouragement and grief, let her stand her ground. Amen.
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand" (Ephesians 6:13).
Join us and pray this scripture today over your minister's wife:
"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe" (Ephesians 1:18-19).
Lord we pray your Scripture for all minister's wives and pastor's wives. I can hardly imagine the trials she must go through, as she supports her husband and operates in her needed and influential role in the church.
We pray that she will use your weapons of warfare, for she does not live in the world, and does not wage war as the world does. The weapons she fights with has Your divine power to demolish strongholds. We pray she will demolish all strongholds in her life and the lives of those she meets with your power. Amen.
"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NIV).
Lord, we pray your Word for our pastor and minister today:
"I meditate on your precepts
and consider your ways.
I delight in your decrees;
I will not neglect your word"
Thank you for your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Wisdom, who has been sent to us, to discipline and correct us, to counsel and comfort us. Let's pray this Scripture for our pastor and minister, that they would be wised the rest of their life by listening to the Holy Spirit.
"Listen to advice and accept discipline,
and at the end you will be counted among the wise"
Lord, how we desire for your favor to come on our pastor and minister. Let's pray this bible verse today for our minister, that they would continually watch for and listen to the Lord! Amen.
"Blessed are those who listen to me,
watching daily at my doors,
waiting at my doorway.
For those who find me find life
and receive favor from the Lord"
