4 Powerful Scriptures to Pray for Our Children in School

Time...

Hours are poured into developing just the right lesson plans for the students.

Hours are poured into finding the correct school supplies and the perfect school clothes.

Hours are poured into classwork, homework, and studying.

All these receptors of time are proven and even needful; however, there is a place even more powerful where time can be invested ...

Prayer.

Though your time may be limited, you have it, and it is a valuable resource to pour into schools, administrators, teachers, and students in your community.

You can Pray as you ready yourself for the day each morning.

You can Pray as you travel to and from home each day.

You can Pray when you're in the drop off and pick up lines to pick up your children.

You can Pray anywhere, anytime, and your prayers are powerful and coveted.

Friend, I encourage you to Pray.

I would like to share 4 scriptures you can pray for your children, the teachers, the school administrators, and all the students within your community.

Guidance in Choosing Good Friends

May students walk in the way of good men (that is, those of personal integrity, moral courage and honorable character,) and keep to the paths of the righteous. Proverbs 2:20 AMP

Humility in Extracurricular Activities

Teach students not to be jealous or proud but be humble and consider others more important than themselves. Philippians 2:3 CEV

Wisdom for Teachers, Counselors, and Paraprofessionals

"Let the message about Christ completely fill your lives, while you use all your wisdom to teach and instruct each other. With thankful hearts, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. Whatever you say or do should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks to God the Father because of him."

Colossians 3:16-17 CEV

Boldness to Tell Others About Jesus

I pray every Administrator, student and family member would tell others with their own mouths that Jesus Christ is their Lord and believe in their own hearts that You, God have raised Him from the dead, and they will be saved. For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God; and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming salvation. Romans 10:9-10 TLB

Next time you are in your car, waiting in the pick-up line at school, or simply find yourself with a moment of time, Pray ... for the children, the teachers, the school leaders, the schools in your community.

Prayer is a powerful and productive investment of your time.
