There's More to Fall than Pumpkin Spice

Fall has arrived and it's the season many have been waiting for.

Pumpkin Spice Lattes, apple pies, bon fires, and seasonal get-togethers are on the minds of millions across the Country right now.

While we don't want to discount the fun and traditional elements of this time of year, I encourage you all to have one more important aspect of the season on your mind.

Prayer

Specifically for the 19.4 million students who have returned to college campuses across the Nation this Fall.

College Students are venturing out into a world of independence and are gathering the education and tools that will help them navigate into their adult lives.

Let's not allow the excitement of the season to cause us to forget to wrap these students in prayer.

I ask you to join with Pray the Word Ministries in prayer for College Students.

  1. Pray College Students Seek the Lord:

    • I pray that College Students seek You Lord while You may be found; calling to You while You are near." Isaiah 55:6 CSB

  2. Pray for College Students to Have Deep Roots

    • I pray that you Lord may grant College Students, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with power in their inner being through Your Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith. I pray that they, being rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and the width, height and depth of Your love, and to know Christ's love that surpasses knowledge, so that they may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:16-19 TLB

  3. Pray College Students Store Up Treasures in Heaven

    • Lord, I pray College Students “Don’t store up for themselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for themselves treasures in heaven..." Matthew 6:19-20 CSB

  4. Pray College Students Set Right Priorities

    • I Praise You, Father! Young people can live a clean life by obeying Your Word. I pray College Students worship You with all their heart. I pray they not walk away from Your commands. May they treasure Your Word above all else; it keeps them from sinning against You. Psalm 119:9-11 CEV

  5. Pray College Students Give Glory to God

    • I pray that when College Students eat or drink or do anything else, I pray that they always do it to honor You, God. I pray they always try to please others instead of themselves, in the hope that many will be saved." See 1 Corinthians 10:31, 33 CEV
