Oswald Chambers wrote in My Upmost for His Highest, “The most wonderful secret of living a holy life does not lie in imitating Jesus, but letting the perfect qualities of Jesus exhibit themselves in our human flesh” (Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest, July 23). To allow these perfect qualities of Jesus to be exhibited in our life, we must daily die to our flesh and consecrate our mind, heart, eyes, ears, mouth, hands, and feet by setting them apart by praying God’s Word. These cards are a tool to be used in your daily quiet time and are designed to help you discover the secret of holy living!

These cards are available for your personal times of consecration by helping you pray the Scriptures, asking God to reveal Himself and teach you how to offer the parts of your body for use as instruments of righteousness (Romans 6:13).

Two primary aspects of consecration are repentance and yielding. Each day you will have Bible verses leading you in prayers of repentance and yielding to God’s will, helping you to consecrate the different parts of your body. Praying God’s Word allows the Holy Spirit to communicate with us, convicting us of our sin. In our repentance, God, by the Holy Spirit, forgives us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Likewise, by praying the Word, the Holy Spirit can teach us God’s will through the Scriptures, so we can know how to be instruments of righteousness (Romans 6:13).
